The room is large, designed and laid out as a workshop. There is no bed, just large bookshelves on the walls and floor: the shelves are well stocked with books that cover a variety of subjects, from farming to astrology. These tomes are dusty, unorganized, maybe even neglected. At the desk, there are pages, melted candles, and other desk ornaments that lie in wait for the return of the pupil. These things have little value to you, from scribbles and sketches, to language notes and an empty cup that once housed hot tea… . So it seems.
