The canopy of branches and heavy leaves facilitate the eerie mood, with the forest becoming much darker, masking the sun, as if night has fallen. These trees are larger than most, towering over you, layered in white moss that hangs down like spider webs. Gullies hide under the brush and rotted tree branches; these ditches are dangerously unexpected and deep…the wounded are always greeted by the giant spiders that hang above, waiting, willing to assist on alleviating any pain with their numbing poisonous teeth…to coil you into a cocoon for a later dinner.
