Bolt of Fire
D&D Dungeons and Dragons fantasy art.

Searching for a secret door at the end of the dungeon’s corridor, you slowly glide your hands over the walls. It’s dry, cracked, but feels too preserved. The stone is smooth, but smudges of dust floats away from your hand and linger like sparkles in mid-air, reflecting off your lantern’s light. Suddenly, a stone is easily pressed in, just a fraction of an inch. You hear the wall grumble. A bright, red flame streaks across the hall towards you! A bolt of fire burns where you stand! You accidentally discharged a trap.

The trap attack has a +5 Attack Bonus and deals 1d10 fire damage. Though a successful DC 10 Wisdom (Perception) check reveals the trap, while a succeeding success roll against a DC 10 Intelligence (Arcana) check knows how the trap works. A Dispel Magic would disarm the trap.
